- The Kananaskis Conservation Pass is also required for those camping in applicable locations. Vehicles parked at provincial park and public land sites in Kananaskis Country, and the the Bow Valley need a Conservation Pass. Description
Three reservable campgrounds and two group camping areas, plus three first come first served campgrounds in this park offer varying levels of services and facilities. Tenters will find some walk-in tenting at Boulton Campground in addition to the entire campground at Mt Sarrail (First-Come, First-Served). RV users will find sites with Power/Water or Power/Water/Sewer hookups at Boulton Creek and Elkwood campgrounds.
The Kananaskis Lakes and surrounding mountains offer abundant recreational opportunities with many hiking, biking and cross-country ski trails. With Interpretive Programming and an amazing Discovery Centre, this park is not to be missed.

Peter Lougheed Park Discovery and Information Centre
There is a small kitchen space with a microwave, kettle, and sink in the Peter Lougheed Discovery Centre. Please note this is a small space that is shared with the public and kitchen resources/space is limited. We have internet connection in the building through our Wi-Fi system.
Nearby Attractions:
The High Country Theatre in the Peter Lougheed Discovery Centre is set up for audio and visual presentations. It sits around 40 people comfortably. There is a large screen, projector and sound system provided free of charge. You may bring your own laptop for presentations, or bring a USB/CD/DVD and use the computer in the theatre.
