Your day will include training in paleontological field techniques, hands-on work to expose and collect dinosaur fossils, and learning about current dinosaur research. This alternative program is offered when we are unable to access the natural preserve due to unsafe conditions. Your group will still have access to an expert interpreter, learn and see all of the same interesting things as on the regular Explorer's Bus Tour but we will stick to the publicly accessible areas to keep you safe. This program is offered at a discount. If you have already registered for a full price Explorer's Bus Tour online, you will automatically receive a partial refund. If you registered in person at the park, you will need to obtain your partial refund at the Visitor Centre.
