Program availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Embark on 30-minute guided-tour through the lifecycle of a fish in the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery-one of the largest indoor fish hatcheries in North America where over a million trout are raised each year. This tour will take you on a journey through the various life stages of a trout, and learn about the role fish stocking plays in keeping fish a part of Alberta's future. The tour will wrap-up with everyone's favourite activity: an opportunity to feed thousands of rainbow trout.

Recommended for ages 4 and older.

Due to the working environment and the feed used within the facilities, those with severe fish allergies are not recommended inside the Fish Hatchery.

Late admittance is not permitted. Arrive at least 5 minutes ahead of the tour start time.

A limited number of walk-up tickets may be available at the site on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tour route is fully wheelchair accessible. Due to the working design of the hatchery, certain tanks and fish are not viewable from wheelchairs.
