Overview

Description

When you're looking for an escape from your day-to-day hustle in central Alberta, Aspen Beach Provincial Park is the place to go. Centrally located on the South end of Gull Lake just a short distance from Hwy 2, the park offers two reservable campgrounds of considerable size and one of the best public beaches in the area. Ebeling Day Use area offers ample green space, a sandy beach, boat launch, playground and kayak rentals. A full service concession is available during the summer providing hot food and ice cream. Brewers campground has a variety of powered campsites from walk-in tenting sites to large RV friendly sites. A new shower house and natural playground are just some of the amenities to enjoy. Lakeview campground offers a wide range of site types including: full-serviced sites, powered campsites and non-powered campsites. This campground also features it own beach and three group camping areas. Weaving through the park is a bicycle friendly trail system including a scenic boardwalk over a wetland. The nearby town of Bentley is connected to the park via a paved bicycle trail. Interpretive programs are offered through out the summer to connect visitors to nature and history of the Park.

    Located on the south shore of Gull Lake. Approximately 28 km north of Sylvan Lake; 18 km west of Lacombe. Access is via Hwy 12 to Hwy 12A. There are separate entrances to each Lakeview Campground, Brewers Campground and Ebeling Day Use Area.
