Overview

Description

Explore the lovely riverside of Pembina River. Hike through scenic forests of spruce, poplar, and willow overlooking the gorge. Pembina River is only an hour’s drive from Edmonton and offers fun leisure activities including hiking, geocaching, and wildlife viewing. Wildlife species observed in the park include mule deer, white-tailed deer, moose, coyotes, red squirrels, snowshoe hares, muskrats, badgers, beavers, mink, and occasionally black bears. The park is also a popular take out location for river tubing. The campground offers 132 individual campsites located in both forested and open environments. Other popular amenities include a group campground, open air shelter, picnic areas, and a playground.
